- Yes, I agree it sounds too big, however, that is indeed what the book says. The fact is cited in the Background section, Coulthard-Clark 1998, p. 244. I suspect that the author has made a typo, but so far I can't find any source to confirm this. AustralianRupert (talk) 11:50, 26 December 2010 (UTC)

- Thanks for that. Yes, that seems to confirm this. I've found another mention in a different source that says the mission was at "3200 feet" (which is about 980m), and another that places it somewhere between 700 and 1,000 metres, so I've adjusted the prose so provide the "about 900m" figure.
