Japanese army of Toyotomi Hideyoshi edit

Hi LordAmeth Konishi Yukinaga was the commander of one the eight Japanese divisions of Toyotomi Hideyoshi army... it will be more accurate to noticed Japanese First Division on the battlebox instead of Japanese army of Toyotomi Hideyoshi won't be?Whlee 22:42, 13 October 2005 (UTC)Reply

"Army of Toyotomi Hideyoshi" may give the wrong impression as to how many divisions were involved, but it gives important and relevant information as to whose army this is.

You're welcome to do with it what you wish, but most people reading the article (including myself) won't know what "Japanese First Division" means. And besides, the format for battleboxes seems to be to name the more general combatants, i.e. the countries at war. A battle of the US Civil War would be labeled "Union" vs "Confederacy", not "3rd Artillery Regiment, Third Division" vs "5th Infantry Company, 12th Division". These kinds of details, while accurate, are not helpful. LordAmeth 02:26, 14 October 2005 (UTC)Reply

Date edit

Hi. The date provided in the article is according to the lunar calendar (4m 24d). Does anyone know the date according to gregorian calendar? --Rage against (talk) 17:45, 6 November 2008 (UTC)Reply
