Talk:Alpha 21364

"The Alpha 21364, code-named "Marvel", also known as EV7 is"

This is incorrect. The 21364 microprocessor was code-named Ev7. The Ev7 code-name applied only to the 21364 processor.

The Marvel code-name applied to some of the platforms (systems) designed to use it, including the GS1280. Other platforms (including some that were never completed) had other code-names.

I don't believe this appears in any public document. However, I am a primary source -- I am one of the architects of Ev7.
