Request reason:

Caught by an open proxy block but this host or IP is not an open proxy. My IP address is 2001:470:8f95::/48. This is a private IPv6 tunnel, not an open proxy. The address block is registered to me via Hurricane Electric, and access is restricted to my network.

WhatIsMyIP seems to think that all HE tunnels are "known proxies". HE is a tunnel broker - it primarily provides IPv6 connectivity to those of us whose ISPs won't. There may be people who abuse HE tunnels to provide proxies, but so far as I know, that's not the rule.

In any case, this address block is assigned to me, and I do not provide proxy services. If behavior attributable to my address block is of concern, please bring the details to my attention and I will investigate.

(I am a user of HE's services; I am not affiliated with HE otherwise.)

Decline reason:

Whatever you call it, it is generally not permitted to edit via such services(reading is fine, but not editing). You may request an IP block exemption by following the instructions at WP:IPECPROXY to contact a checkuser. 331dot (talk) 15:09, 5 February 2023 (UTC)Reply

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.
