Building construction? edit
I really disagree with the idea that A514 is commonly used in building construction. I believe it is commonly used in heavy equipment fabrication. It certainly serves a structural function in heavy equipment and in the design of heavily loaded machinery, but the term “structural steel” seems to me generally to suggest steels used in buildings and bridges, not machines.
