Rene Gamarcha Herrera (born April 24, 1979) is a Filipino[1]track and field athlete. He was represented as five-time record in athletic South East Asian games. Currently, he placed 8th in 3000m steeplechase at the Asian championships in Kobe and competed at Asian Games, Doha at 3000m steeplechase. He ranks 8th in the finals. Also, he recorded his SB during Malaysia open track and field at Kuala Lumpur.[2]
