This is the discography of Japanese-American J-pop and R&B singer Hikaru Utada, one of Japan's most successful music artists. Utada has sold almost 38 million singles and albums in Japan alone,[1] with her seven albums, one compilation, and numerous singles.

Incorrectly attributed songs
- "Sukiyaki" - She did not cover the song "Sukiyaki" by Kyu Sakamoto. "This was a demo version for her recording company, Toshiba-EMI and was never officially released to the public." was made up. The song "Sukiyaki" was sung in English by a band called A Taste of Honey. While the singer from this band does sound a lot like Utada, the fact is the song was sung in the early 1980s. The rumor is believed to have been started by someone mislabeling the song file, then that file getting distributed to the public via a file sharing program.
- "Hear Me Cry" - Utada is often incorrectly attributed to singing "Hear Me Cry" by American band Cagnet. The rumour Utada is said to have sung this song is due to the fact the lead singer sounds similar to Utada, with the song being mislabelled (as with "Sukiyaki") and being distributed to the public via a file sharing program.
