Where's the Canadian Senate?

edit

(This talk started on Talk:List of Canadian federal parliaments and Talk:39th Canadian Parliament.)

In this article and the articles of the 1st through 38th Canadian Parliaments, there's no mention of the Canadian Senate. The Canadian Parliament is bi-cameral (made up of the House of Commons & the Senate). Has the Senate been abolished? without my knowledge?. GoodDay 19:54, 3 December 2006 (UTC)Reply

The Senate is defiantly worth mentioning. I have no problem with you adding it to the articles. --Arctic Gnome 22:37, 3 December 2006 (UTC)Reply
How do think the senate should be worked into the table? --Arctic Gnome 22:35, 3 December 2006 (UTC)Reply
Well, though it's painstaking, may have to check list of All Canadian Senators tenures; and add them accordingly to each #Canadian Parliment. GoodDay 22:44, 3 December 2006 (UTC)Reply

I'm going to (in the next few days), begin adding the Canadian Senators (past & present), to the 1st through 39th Canadian Parliments. It will take a long, long, long time. Put I'll give it a try. GoodDay 22:52, 3 December 2006 (UTC)Reply

Most of them don't even have lists of MPs. I would think the lists of lower house members would be a priority if you want to spend that much time on these articles. --Arctic Gnome 22:56, 3 December 2006 (UTC)Reply
I'm aborting my plans to add the Senators to the Canadian Parliaments sections. Because the Canadian Senate is a continuous body, I'm not sure how to implement it in all the 39 articles (across nearly 140 yrs). This is a project, in which (due to lack of resources, tools & plain know how), I'll have to leave to others more qualified. GoodDay 01:28, 4 December 2006 (UTC)Reply
