The Lord of the Rings (1978 film) edit

An interesting piece of filmmaking with an even more interesting backstory. Back in August, there wasn't a whole lot in the article, and it contained some statements that were either inaccurate or POV. I've spent some time working on improving it to standards. Any comments?
