Template:North_West_England edit

The following discussion is an archived debate of the proposed deletion of the template below. Please do not modify it. Subsequent comments should be made on the appropriate discussion page (such as the template's talk page or in a deletion review). No further edits should be made to this page.

The result of the debate was delete. Numerically it was close to no consensus, but those advocating keep provided very few reasons why. There is no reason to keep as a redirect since new instances of the template are unlikely to be added and {{North West England}} has been depopulated and there are no alternate versions in history that might be helpful if consensus on template design should change. Template is not used any more as I moved the only link over to use the other similar template. It is virtually the same as Template:NW England. --WOSlinker 08:00, 2 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

  • Delete, since it is redundant. PMC 17:47, 2 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]
  • Keep There are several other templates similar to this, it seems redundant but its still a valuable template.Tellyaddict 18:25, 2 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]
It is redundant since Template:NW England does the same job. WOSlinker 18:40, 2 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]
  • Delete - Redundant, unused. —Dgiest c 23:25, 2 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]
  • Keep Smbarnzy 13:27, 4 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]
  • Speedy redirect to Template:NW England, with which it is redundant. There's no reason to bring this to TFD. —Angr 13:46, 5 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]
