Original – Antoine de Favray - Portrait of the Countess of Vergennes in Turkish Attireontes of Vergennes in Turkish Gown
Reason
Because my plan was to nominate them both. Both the husband and the wife. I was even having coffee with the husband this Saturday, in my private club just to remember to nominate. This is Charles Gravier's wife.

  • Support - nice image, very good quality.--Godot13 (talk) 03:43, 17 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]
  • I'm torn. There's EV and a gorgeous image, but we don't really have much discussion of his wife. — Crisco 1492 (talk) 10:05, 17 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]
  • Oppose great image, but I don't see the EV since we don't have much info on the painting itself, or the person in the painting. An article on either one would change my mind. Mattximus (talk) 13:12, 17 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]
  • I would be happy with a section on his wife within Charles Gravier, comte de Vergennes's article. I can't find any discussion on his wife, and so this painting, although nice, does not link to any of the content of wikipedia, which is by definition the EV. • Well, then I go for that, as a compromise. Was trying to figure out how the heck to do infoboxes with duble portairs, and failed, so far. Hafspajen (talk) 14:55, 18 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]
  • Yeah, more than a sentence in the husband's article would help. Essentially, all we're saying is "This is who he married". — Crisco 1492 (talk) 15:37, 18 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]
  • Ahem, the husband is two noms down......... Hafspajen (talk) 01:06, 20 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]
