ArbCom elections are now open! edit

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. Garrett K. Gomez edit

Hi can you please provide a citation that says that he is in fact dead? When I did a Google search on this person I could find no articles (either reliable or otherwise) that states that he is in fact dead. If no such evidence is added within a decent amount of time, the edit will likely be reverted (assuming it hasn't already). Feinoha Talk 04:51, 15 December 2016 (UTC)Reply

I just saw the source that I (somehow) missed that confirms that he is dead. Feinoha Talk 04:54, 15 December 2016 (UTC)Reply

A page you started (Thomas Ambrose Butler) has been reviewed! edit

Thanks for creating Thomas Ambrose Butler, GabeHanafin!

Wikipedia editor Animalparty just reviewed your page, and wrote this note for you:

This article needs better sources: two of them are primary sources (written by Butler), which cannot vouch for notability, and the third appears self-published. More reliable sources include entries in Appletons' Cyclopaedia of American Biography and coverage in books like The St. Louis Irish.

To reply, leave a comment on Animalparty's talk page.
