Your account has been blocked indefinitely from editing Wikipedia, because it has been identified as an account used for promotion of a company or group, with a username that implies that this has been done by that company or group. See Wikipedia:FAQ/Organization and Wikipedia:Conflict of interest.

This kind of activity is considered spamming and forbidden by policies, and also violates our username policy.

However, if you feel that there has been a mistake in your blocking, please appeal this block by adding the text {{unblock|Your reason here}} below or email the administrator who blocked you. Your reason should include your response to this issue and a new username you wish to adopt that does not violate our username policy (specifically, understand that accounts are for individuals, not companies or groups, and that your username should reflect this). Please check that your new username has not already been taken by checking this list. Mfield (Oi!) 18:28, 3 April 2009 (UTC)Reply

{{unblock|I was unaware of the username issue, though I understand that the username can be seen as promotion of a business (though it was only used because it was felt that it was as good as any). The edits that were made were in good faith, completely related to the subject matter and added to the educational value the entries. Is it possible to change the username? Or will that not make any difference? If so, please go ahead and change my username to: Jdfjurn. I haven't come here to vandalise Wikipedia.}}

Your request to be unblocked has been granted for the following reason(s):

I am unblocking you on two conditions: Firstly you immediately visit WP:Changing username and file a name change request. Secondly that you read the following guidelines: Conflict of interest, External links, spamming so that you can understand the reasons for your block and why adding links to sites you are affiliated with is unacceptable. In the future, if you believe that any information on your site it relevant and noteworthy enought to merit a link then you must bring the matter up for discussion on article talk, disclosing your affiliation with the site, and let impartial editors make the desicison as to its merits.
