Adminship

edit

No, I did not have an adminship at all. I asked a few people if I can nominate them but all of them said that they don't feel ready to be an admin. NHRHS2010 Talk 09:09, 5 October 2007 (UTC)Reply

Dunno...

edit

Dunno, do you think we should create the thing that Ksy92003 created last year where we organized all of the 2007 MLB teams and we had editors responsible for them...Willing to do that with you. See ya. BrianY 14:21, 5 October 2007 (UTC)Reply

Mainspace edits

edit

Just to tell you that these days, I am busy adding infoboxes or adding stuff to infoboxes on articles about given names, such as Amos, Emily, and Eric. NHRHS2010 Talk 23:00, 6 October 2007 (UTC)Reply

If my edits included deleted edits, then this would be my 9028th edits, according to My Preferences. I would be reverting vanadlism today, but I have lots of homework and TESTS so it seems that I am taking a wikibreak. Excluding deleted edits, I would have just over 8800th edits. NHRHS2010 Talk 23:08, 6 October 2007 (UTC)Reply
If I was not busy, then I would probably make my 10000th edit in a few days. And besides Wikipedia, I also have an account on YouTube and you can find the video about me talking about 10th grade, and even Wikipedia-related videos as well. NHRHS2010 Talk 23:28, 6 October 2007 (UTC)Reply
Yes, it would be about 7:50 PM here in New Jersey. It is already dark here. Wikipedia time, would be about 11:50 PM. NHRHS2010 Talk 23:52, 6 October 2007 (UTC)Reply

Archives

edit

Just to let you know that some people move their talk page to archive, while others archive talk page the way you do it (cut and paste to archive). Just to tell you that Wikipedia is not a social networking site if you want to talk about something other than Wikipedia, then you should get an account on YouTube. Game Logs/2008 LA Dodgers season

edit

So are we going to put the game logs directly onto the articles or do we just put it into a template? I think just putting it in the article is faster and saves much more time. Are you going to help edit the 2008 Los Angeles Dodgers season page. If you are going to do it all season long then are you willing to make the stats and keep them updated every game? That's what User:BrianY and I did last year. We got tired of it half way through, but if you are willing to help us we're going to create the stats for the players. LADodgersAngelsfan 06:32, 12 October 2007 (UTC)Reply

I'm going to try and help out with all of the teams next year. The stats in my opinion are tougher to keep up with than the game logs, simply because there is much more info to be inserted. Also, what we're going to try and do is put the game logs straight onto the articles, and then we will move them onto a template when they are completed. Let me know if you have any questions. jj137 (Talk) 11:05, 12 October 2007 (UTC)Reply
Hmmm...do you mean possibly...that when all the schedules are out/times/etc that you are going to translate it into a template...let me know...kthxbai. BrianY 01:06, 13 October 2007 (UTC)Reply
About the templates - what are we going to do...are they going to be templates or just on the articles....I was confused...check out my contribs...I made the 2008 page...BrianY 01:17, 13 October 2007 (UTC)Reply

Creating templates

edit

When you create templates, please remember to put any categories between noinclude tags. Otherwise, the category will show every article that uses the template instead of just the templates as it should. I fixed the couple that you created today that didn't have the tags. --WoohookittyWoohoo! 09:04, 19 October 2007 (UTC)Reply

Yep. Noinclude can be tricky. It took me a few weeks of doing categorization before I realized the effects that not including it has. And I still don't completely understand it. :) Just know that I have to use it. --WoohookittyWoohoo! 05:59, 23 October 2007 (UTC)Reply
Only MLB related article on my watchlist is Baseball. Any other articles that get hit quite a bit? --WoohookittyWoohoo! 06:23, 23 October 2007 (UTC)Reply
As long as you correct yourself as soon as you can, it's not a big deal. --WoohookittyWoohoo! 07:40, 23 October 2007 (UTC)Reply

That's good, ain't it?

edit

That's good....time to work out disputes and stuff...get to work. Good work with the 2008 MLB baseball season stuff so far. Lots of homework...I'm editing when I can! An I'm not signing up for a lot...because I'll try and do a variety next year. BrianY 17:12, 20 October 2007 (UTC)Reply

Thanks for the barnstar. NHRHS2010 talk 01:05, 29 October 2007 (UTC)Reply
Yes, and just to tell you that I will archive my talk page soon. And there is a possibility that I will be having a one-day Wikibreak on Halloween night. NHRHS2010 talk 01:10, 29 October 2007 (UTC)Reply
No, it did not annoy me. Just to tell you that you should always sign your posts by putting ~~~~ at the end of your posts on talk pages, user talk pages, RfAs, AfDs, etc. (but not mainspace articles). You left a level 1 warning on a vandal IP's talk page, without signing. Minutes later, that IP vandalized again and User:ClueBot, which is a bot, reverted that vandalism and left a level 1 warning instead of level 2 warning. This is what can happen when you don't sign your post as the bot doesn't know when the unsigned previous warning was issued. And to revert vandalism even faster, you should get something called "Twinkle". To get Twinkle, read WP:TWINKLE. NHRHS2010 talk 01:28, 29 October 2007 (UTC)Reply
