Let's see. You were disrupting Wikipedia to make a point; you were edit warring; and you were making personal attacks. I don't see any way that your request makes up for this bad behavior. --jpgordon𝄢𝄆𝄐𝄇 22:22, 30 March 2024 (UTC)Reply

Request reason:

Because of my hectic schedule, I do not edit Wikipedia very often, so I was not fully aware with all of its policies and guidelines. Reading articles on Wikipedia takes up the majority of my time there.

I admit that I was not able to comprehend all of the laws, but after carefully reading through several of the criteria, I now know what I am blocked for:

  • Disruptive edit: I truly did not plan to prevent people from making progress on the article because I also want it to advance, but after reading the criteria, I realize that I made a mistake.

I acknowledge my mistake Failure or refusal to "get the point", for which I sincerely apologize and swear that I would never do it again since I vowed to keep myself from engaging in any disruptive editing or any other editing that editors or administrators comment about.

  • Personal attacks: I was always cool and collected, but when I was told I was not wanted here, I became enraged and lost my sense of reason. I now realize my error and the insult I gave to User:M.Bitton, and I want to sincerely apologize to him as well as to everyone else for that.🙇
  • Give me a chance: I pledge to read all of the Wikipedia policies and guidelines and to seek help.

With that assurance, I grant you complete permission to view my talk page history at any moment in case I make a tiny mistake so that you can permanently ban me next time. I enjoy programming and math, and I am here to read and contribute. I will also try to assist others avoid my mistakes. I sincerely apologize and swear that it will not occur again. 🙇 Mystrixo ✉️ 06:24, 1 April 2024 (UTC)Reply

Decline reason:

We don't need your permission to view your edit history or talk page history, nor would we "permanently ban" you for a "tiny mistake". You are human, you will make mistakes- but how you handle those is important. It sounds to me that Wikipedia needs to be protected from the possibility that you will lose your control and become enraged at other editors. What steps will you take in the future to prevent losing your cool? 331dot (talk) 07:39, 1 April 2024 (UTC)Reply

Email edit

Hi Mystrixo. I recieved your email but I figured it best to reply on-wiki. I will note that you are not actually banned from editing (this has a specific meaning) but blocked. If you're curious about the difference between the two, this is the page that explains what bans are. Anyways, I realize that it is likely incredibly frustrating to be blocked. It seems like you are somewhat desperate to be unblocked and while I understand that desire... emailing random admins for unblock requests probably isn't the best way to go about it. I would prefer to stay out of this as I have literally no experience whatsoever in dealing with unblock requests. I will, however, ping 331dot, who dealt with your last one and left specific feedback. My advice is for you to try to do something you enjoy while waiting in the meantime. I know it can be hard to just not look at the screen... I personally try to go outside for walks in nature when I'm feeling this way. Clovermoss🍀 (talk) 21:00, 14 April 2024 (UTC)Reply

Question for administrator edit

Please, could you blank my user page? Regards.

--Mystrixo ✉️ 08:34, 24 April 2024 (UTC)Reply

You are free to remove most content from this page, except for declined unblock requests for your active sitewide block; see WP:BLANKING. 331dot (talk) 09:01, 24 April 2024 (UTC)Reply
Did you mean this page — your user talk page — which you can edit yourself, or your actual userpage — User:Mystrixo — which you can't edit? I can blank User:Mystrixo for you as a courtesy, if you like. That's all right, isn't it, 331dot? Bishonen | tålk 09:38, 24 April 2024 (UTC).Reply
@331dot,@User:Bishonen Yes my User page User:Mystrixo, Thank you and I am sorry for the hassle. Mystrixo ✉️ 09:49, 24 April 2024 (UTC)Reply
Yes, I was confused. Thanks 331dot (talk) 10:08, 24 April 2024 (UTC)Reply
(It's no wonder, 331, as many people do tend to call both of them "my userpage". I wasn't sure at all which was meant. Anyway, done, no problem. Bishonen | tålk 10:33, 24 April 2024 (UTC).)Reply
@Bishonen Thank you very much, I am sorry for the trouble. Mystrixo ✉️ 10:35, 24 April 2024 (UTC)Reply

A call for forgiveness and hopefully a guide for others edit

Greetings and I apologize for mentioning Sirs @M.Bitton, @Skitash, @C.Fred and @Liu1126

I would like to ask for your forgiveness for generating problems.

Sir @M.Bitton, notably, I humbly request that you forgive me for the personal insults🙇‍♂️; I used the F word on you, and I am now so pained within my chest from the guilt I caused; I understand that if it is unforgivable, I will carry it with me for the rest of my life.

It goes against the guide to appealing block, but that is not what I am concerned about right now.

How did it all start: (This is not, in any way, a reason or excuse for my doing, but please hear me out.)

As you may have guessed, I am an Algerian citizen. My uncle was a fallen soldier and martyr in the Algerian Revolution, and we have the martyr's seal in our house. I was reading the article about Algeria, and when I saw French as a language of the country (it was previously listed as one of Algeria's languages contrary to now abeinga foreign one) in the Infobox, I became enraged and wanted to modify it by eliminating it. This is when my inner ego began working toward the complete eradication of French as a language in Algeria, even while utilizing Tamazight as a reasoning tool to facilitate the removal of French from the Infobox.

So I began modifying, and I was perplexed as to why the modification was reversed despite the fact that French is not official, and this is where I violated the 3RR (although, to be honest, I believed it had passed 24 hours, but as I previously stated, this is not an excuse paragraph).

Then I went to include English as a foreign language because the government itself referred to the era of English due to its importance, and it was officially included as an essential language to learn since primary school. However, I was perplexed as to why my edit was considered repeated and disruptive, despite the fact that it was the first time I had included English as a foreign language in the infobox.

I then moved on to another article to avoid the Algeria page issue, where I did write the original name of my city in Tifinagh because it is originally a Berber name, and I was also perplexed as to why the edit was removed; this is where I said the F word to @M.Bitton as a personal attack.

I also discussed incorporating local vernaculars with @Skitash; he revoked the edit, but another user added them and was fine; now I believe I was not writing them appropriately.

Now for the conclusion:

I thought I was defending my uncle's legacy, my country, and that I was the one facing injustice.

But I was wrong, French is spoken by almost all Algerians, I wanted to deny that, I did not want to believe it, I wanted to lie and escape from the reality that Algerians do indeed speak it, sometimes better than Arabic itself, not to mention that the current president himself stated that learning English is worthwhile because it is the international language, while the "French language is war booty"

I also thought that by defending Tamazight, it would provide justification for the elimination of French, despite the fact that, as @M.Bitton stated, Tamazight is not yet codified.

All of this, after sitting and talking to myself, made me feel the opposite: I am the criminal on this Algeria discussion board, doing nothing for my nation but making a fool of myself and setting a horrible example for my country.

I immediately began crying so hard because of the remorse I felt for degrading my uncle's legacy. It wounded me so much, and I can not find a way to fix it; it is too lat.; I had every opportunity not to behave in such a manner.

As for the administrators, Sir @HJ Mitchell, Sir @Jpgordon, Sir @Yamla, Sir @331dot and Madame @Clevermoss , I am truly embarrassed of my conduct, and I ask that you pardon me for all of the difficulties I created by taking your time with a bad person like me. I wish I could undo this and turn back the time, but that is not practical. But that is my wish; I am severely harmed by my acts, and I have no words to offer.

@Bishonen I ask that you excuse me for taking the time to blank my personal User page. I wanted to thank you, but it appears that when I am blocked, I am unable to utilize the thank feature or The Random Acts of Kindness Barnstar; I hope to express my gratitude appropriately one day.

What I hope to gain from this issue is that all Users who I have harmed will forgive me and not hold me up as an example for the Algerian people, martyrs, and country because I am a bad guy. I have been feeling a lot of remorse and crying every day since I realized how horrible of a person I am compared to what I assumed, similar to how the video game Braid depicted Julius Robert Oppenheimer's life.

I attempted to fix myself while working on my second main Wiki, the Arabic Wiki, and other Wikimedia projects.

@everyone Please, forgive me because I am not flawless; I make errors and hurt people. But when I say, "Forgive me," I mean it.🙇‍♂️

I am really hoping to hear from you all, especially @M.Bitton, because you are the person I have harmed the most.

Finally, in this paragraph, I do not ask for unblocking; I deserve it very well, and I am not better than those who received permanent blocks; I am not even near to that, and that is not my aim in writing this. Even if I wish to.

I will leave my user talk page as is, hoping that it will help others avoid making the same mistakes I did and that they understand that Wikipedia is an encyclopedia that states facts with sources based on a neutral point of view, regardless of how angry you are about something that does not align with your principles by avoiding waiting for the wind to blow your ship sail in your preferred direction.

Please do Forgive me. Farewell and best regards.
