Linking

Re: ACE

Are you talking about season totals? For the Atlantic, we get them from NOAA. The ongoing season total is calculated on a storm-by-storm basis, but is adjusted to the NOAA total at the end of the season. --♫ Hurricanehink (talk) 22:29, 18 September 2013 (UTC)

Name of Halifax

Hi there! I see that you modified the beginning of the Halifax Regional Municipality article to identify that the place is now know simply as "Halifax", rather than the entire three-word phrase. Thanks for doing that, but I wonder if you would be willing to also join a discussion that's going on about changing the title of the article. I (and others) believe that there should be one primary article called just "Halifax, Nova Scotia", and that the Halifax Regional Municipality article should be used as the basic contents. This is what has happened for Toronto, Montreal, and lots of other merged municipalities. Also, it's Wikipedia policy (as you'll see from the discussion). Therefore, I'm proposing to move Halifax Regional Municipality to just Halifax, Nova Scotia. However, there are those who disagree (or at least, there is one person, so far, who disagrees). Since you clearly have thoughts about this very topic, it would be nice to have your participation! You can go to Talk:Halifax_Regional_Municipality and add your thoughts - it's the discussion at the very bottom. Just a "vote" would be great, but your thoughts or opinions would be even better.
