User talk:Kansan/Archive 4 I guess I'm unsure of how to utilize this page as a "talk page," so forgive me if this post is incorrect procedure. Please review the content of my comment and tell me any of it is not true. The hit was dirty, both BountyGate and GoldenGate were real events, and the concept of karma must be acknowledged as 'karma' is legitimate and has its own wikipage. Thank you. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 174.61.163.34 (talk) 16:40, 9 October 2012 (UTC)Reply

Question

edit

Are you aware that the proponents of the Gibraltarpedia moratorium also wish to ban articles about Spain and Morocco? Do you support that? You might wish to consider this in relation to your vote to support a moratorium. Prioryman (talk) 20:21, 25 October 2012 (UTC)Reply

Thanks for getting a good source in that article. The push to add sources that speculate, cite anonymous sources, and cite "several other news sources" was really getting to me. Hopefully your source that cites the KCPD will put this issue to bed. OlYeller21Talktome 17:21, 1 December 2012 (UTC)Reply

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Oklahoma Joe's, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Kansas City (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Notification of discussion

edit

A few months ago, you participated in a discussion on Wikipedia talk:Did you know about Gibraltar-related DYKs on the Main Page. I am proposing that the temporary restrictions on such DYKs, which were imposed in September 2012, should be lifted and have set out a case for doing so at Wikipedia talk:Did you know/Gibraltar-related DYKs. If you have a view on this, please comment at that page. Prioryman (talk) 21:48, 13 February 2013 (UTC)Reply

Join us for the fight for free and equal knowledge!

I want to invite you to two upcoming Wikipedia:Meetup/ArtAndFeminism meetups in the Kansas City Area, as part of Women's History Month. The first event will be on March 7 in Lawrence from 10:00am to 5PM and the second on March 28, 2015 from 12:00 PM to 4:30 PM at the Kansas City Public Library. Join us either digitally or physically for these events! Of course, like other Wikipedia events, editors are more than welcome to edit about topics of their own interest, but our hope is to help close the gender gap on Wikipedia! I've deleted this SPI you filed. Next time, please look at the user pages of the accounts. Both are blocked, and both are tagged as being socks of two different masters. One was already blocked when you filed, and the other was blocked later. Thanks.--Bbb23 (talk) 20:49, 2 August 2015 (UTC)Reply

ArbCom 2022 Elections voter message

edit

Hello! Voting in the 2022 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23:59 (UTC) on Monday, 12 December 2022. All eligible users are allowed to vote. Users with alternate accounts may only vote once.

The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.

If you wish to participate in the 2022 election, please review the candidates and submit your choices on the voting page. If you no longer wish to receive these messages, you may add {{NoACEMM}} to your user talk page. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 00:43, 29 November 2022 (UTC)Reply
