User:Reedy/Airport Infobox Migration Plugin
A custom written plugin for AutoWikiBrowser to migrate old style airport infoboxes (Template links) to the new {{Infobox Airport}}.
It is written in C#, to help clear the ~3,600 page backlog.

Recommendations edit
It is recommended that whilst using the plugin for Infobox Migration using AWB, that users enable AutoTag, General Fixes, and Regextypofix. These are recommended as they will mean that minor changes, and other changes such as typos can be fixed, to help improve the article, as they may not be edited too frequently.
Use AWB to Make List From: "What transcludes page:" Template:Airport infobox
Set AWB to Skip if no changes made, and also to skip non existing pages.
Enable the plugin by selecting it from the plugin menu.

Known Problems edit
The plugin currently doesn't handled piped wikilinks. this is most likely to be a problem on run by and operated by links. Users should watch out for unclosed wiki links, and close them, or manually copy the piped bit and after Reedy 13:55, 26 July 2007 (UTC)—Reedy 20:56, 7 July 2008 (UTC)- Caption and Size of images are not transferred. Time needed to sort this regex would probably be a lot more than just to move these by hand. I've noticed they are very rare, so im not bothered. Reedy 22:26, 26 July 2007 (UTC)
