Greetings! I am user ApplePieGuy95!

I enjoy studying history (hence why most articles that I edit are related to history in some way) and am fond of reading. I, of course, also like Wikipedia. I felt compelled to begin editing Wikipedia out of a sense of duty. Having seen things that needed fixing, I felt it was my duty to help fix them, and, in the process, feel proud of my own contributions. I am new here, and, as such, am bound to make mistakes. I expect that, as time goes by, I will gain more experience learning how to properly edit this site, but, for now, I consider myself a novice in terms of my editing skills. If I do make mistakes without realizing it, the most that I can do is to ask for clemency, and to learn from such mistakes in the process. I sincerely hope that I can make Wikipedia better, not worse, with my contributions. As I simply enjoy helping out and do not want to go so far as to participate in volunteer efforts, I plan on making edits intermittently, depending on whether it is suitable at any particular moment, or whether I desire to contribute to a certain article. At some times, I may regularly contribute, but, at other times, I may not. You will most often find me correcting the countless grammatical mistakes and poorly written sentences riddled throughout Wikipedia. This is largely the reason why I joined Wikipedia in the first place; I simply cannot stand reading articles that have not been proofread.
