Underworld LARP is a live action role playing game based in Toronto, Ontario.

Underworld LARP is a medieval, fantasy / horror based game. It has no affiliation with the Underworld movie franchise. In its 15th season, it averages approximately 150 players at each event. Players meet once a month for most of the year. Outdoor events occur in late spring to late fall, and span full weekends running non-stop from Friday evening to Sunday afternoon. In the winter season, single-day outdoor events, or indoor evening events are common.

Due to mature topics such as violence, gore, occult, sexuality and religion, Underworld LARP has an 18+ age limit. It's darker themes distinguish it from other live action role playing groups in its area. With a rich in-game history, mature player base and rules system, Underworld is one of the largest and most active boffer LARPs in Ontario. [1]

Underworld LARP was established in 1994 by Edward Watt and Geoff Simpson, and has been one of the most popular and realistic role-playing games in Canada. After a small hiatus, Geoff left to pursue his artistic career. Filling Geoff’s position as Co-Owner is David Ashby. Over the last 4 years David and Edward have resurrected Underworld LARP from a small 25 player game to averaging 150 players per event. We expect that number to double by next season.

Underworld currently has three guilds: The head chapter (Jericho) is located in Toronto, Canada. The second chapter (Kalidor) is in Edmonton, Canada. Their newest chapter (New Haven) is located in Texas, USA.
