“Shakin’ the blues away” was a 1927 song written by Irving Berlin and was first introduced in the Ziegfeld Follies of 1927 by Ruth Etting, it’s most famous iteration was by Ann Miller in the film Easter Parade (film), it’s also been covered by other notable artists such as Doris Day in the film Love Me or Leave Me (film) and Tony Bennett. The song entered the Public domain January 1st 2023
