Orphaned fair use image (Image:Bay and Hooper - Toms River.jpg)
editThanks for uploading Image:Bay and Hooper - Toms River.jpg. I notice the 'image' page currently specifies that the image is unlicensed for use on Wikipedia and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful.
If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any fair use images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. feydey 10:45, 6 October 2006 (UTC)
City votes
editSince you recently voted on the Philadelphia article name change, I thought you might be interested in participating on the vote to make a similar name change for Los Angeles. See Talk:Los Angeles, California. Also, if you put my user page on your watchlist, you'll see notifications of other similar votes. --Serge 18:03, 16 October 2006 (UTC)
Interstate 4/Lee Roy Selmon Expressway connector (Tampa, FL)
editThank you for adding the references regarding the 40th St closure along I-4. I have been trying to find such references, with no luck however. Wslupecki 20:22, 26 October 2006 (UTC).
DE revert
editI noticed you reverted the edits made to add the capital largest cities on the Delaware page. The same user made similar edits to more than a dozen states. Do you plan to revert those as well? - R HokieRNB 17:14, 8 December 2006 (UTC)
- Honestly, I only noticed Maryland and Delaware b/c I'm watching those pages. If you wanna change them, please feel free. Otherwise, if you don't want to do that, lemme know and I'll fix 'em Jimbo 14:25, 9 December 2006 (UTC)
Hi, Jimbo. Thanks for your support of the consensus's version of the 'team captains' list. Hope 'Darthflyer' doesn't give you a hard time; he (earlier) removed one of my postings on Talk: Philadelphia Flyers (I've restored the posting). Removing other users' postings from discussion pages, is a Wikipedia no-no. Hope 'Darthflyer' discontinues his temper tantrum. GoodDay 23:22, 12 December 2006 (UTC)
- Thanks, man. Don't worry, I can handle Darthflyer; he's just one of the die-hards like me. He means well, but it's the Philly attitude in him; if he's anything like me, he's not beyond PO'd. He's just doing what he thought was right, though it's most likely not. This too shall pass. Jimbo 19:47, 14 December 2006 (UTC)
Billy Penn Template
editThanks. Loved it when I was looking at your page, and figured I take it in myself. Hey, I suffered the worst when **** (That player for the Blue Jays is a profanity in my book, and refuse to say the name) hit that home run in 93 to end the World Series, and worse yet, I was 9 at that time, so thats maginified 10 times worse.
Im sure I can find an apporiate page on the user box pages, and put that on there for others to use. PYLrulz 00:02, 20 December 2006 (UTC)
