The template I cloned this from had an optional category parameter, so I left the option in. Can't think of a use for it atm, but who knows, maybe there will be in the future. JYolkowski // talk 23:10, 31 October 2006 (UTC)

Split?

I think that this template should be split into two: {{local}} and a generalized version called {{cleanup-verifiability}}. Here's what cleanup-verifiability would look like:

Broaden scope - should not be limited to "places"

The limitation of this template and its category to "places" is undesirable. Unactionable template

This template is throwing stuff at the wall, and not even waiting to see if anything sticks.  Deletion seems in order, although there was a suggestion above to do some kind of a split.  Unscintillating (talk) 00:45, 5 January 2018 (UTC)
