It seems to me to be like you described...I haven't read Lamb's book or anything, but without sources right now there is nothing showing that this article should even be an article. If someone can bring in some good sources we can try to expand it, but if no good sources come up it may be better to merge it (as just a sentence or two) into the general linguistics article. —Politizertalk • contribs ) 14:22, 9 October 2008 (UTC)Reply
