Profound problems with article

edit

I arrived here a few days ago to fix a misspelled word, found myself doing some general copyediting, and ended up tagging the article as having multiple issues. For starters, the article has no lead. There are also problems with structure and style. The most pressing problem is that there is only one reference listed—"personal interview"—and that one is not a reliable source. I have reverted the latest round of edits because some of them changed the meaning of a given sentence significantly, in some cases 180 degrees, and I have no way of knowing which version is correct. If I had access to better reference materials, I would try to verify some of the basics independently and source them properly. In the meantime, I will seek help at one of the WikiProjects and would ask anyone who happens by with access to good sources to please dive in and help. Copy-edit

edit

As requested, I have performed a basic copy-edit. The article requires a major rewrite to meet Wikipedia's standards. Editors may contact me about my edits. Davtra (talk) 11:06, 8 June 2010 (UTC)Reply
