Mkgrnwlt (talk) 09:51, 2 May 2011 (UTC) The image for Richmond has recently been changed from an aerial shot of Richmond and its surrounds to an evening shot looking out over the Waimea Plains. The aerial shot was dreadful enough, showing the area at low tide with the estuary adjacent to Richmond being a mudflat, not the lovely water it can be, but the new picture is dark and shows nothing distinctive of Richmond. Also while a picture of the Waimea Plains IS related to Richmond, there is nothing in the article which relates the two IIRC.Reply

Mkgrnwlt (talk) 09:55, 2 May 2011 (UTC) I went back to look at the Richmond page again. And, yes, there is nothing in the article to relate Waimea to Richmond. And, I see the original image is also still there. I think both images should be replaced with a single image which more suitably shows the charms of Richmond. Unfortunately, I have no images to offer that are any better from my personal collection.Reply
