Issues found

edit

Unfortunately I have to quick-fail this given a number of large issues with the article:

  • The article assumes several times that the reader already knows about Perfect Dark for the N64. Though gamers know this, parents and others who don't know the game won't understand.
  • The lead should have more information on the reception of the game, as well as a small synopsis
  • The Overview section needs to be broken up into multiple parts
  • A Gameplay section needs to be added with basic information on how the game is played. It can be shorter than the N64 article and should keep the Further information link, but it can't rely wholly on it
  • The plot should also be basically explained
  • Any new detail should be either added as a sub-section under Gameplay called Enhancements (for gameplay-based enhancements such as online play)
  • Other new detail, such as HDTV resolutions should be in the Development section
  • The development section can borrow (with minor rewrites) parts from the Perfect Dark Engine section to show the evolution.
  • There is no mention of the game's announcement nor promotion
  • The Update section can be merged into the Development section
  • A gameplay image that's stacked might seem less daunting than a side-by-side. See Comic Jumper: The Adventures of Captain Smiley
  • The Reception section could also use beefing up
  • Some references do not have accessdates, publishers, etc. Some other sources such as Mundorare have questionable reliability.

To be clear, though. I do think it's well on its way to being a Good Article. It's just not there yet. I've added it to my Watchlist and will be helping out on this one, as I loved this game.
