Deleted Arabic
editI've deleted the parenthetical Arabic form of the name. See Talk:Linguistics and the Book of Mormon for my reasons. Pterodactyler 15:07, 1 August 2005 (UTC)
Mergeto Book of Omni
editBecause this article is unlikely to get any bigger, I think that it should be merged to Book of Omni. — Val42 (talk) 02:24, 25 December 2007 (UTC)
I agree, but I think the redirect should go to Persons in the Book of Mormon as that seems to be the place where minor figures are being kept. --Descartes1979 (talk) 01:35, 11 February 2008 (UTC)
- I am going to change my vote to Oppose Merge - I think that they should be their own articles. I am in the process of expanding a bunch of articles like this, and think they can stand on their own, even if they won't be huge articles. --Descartes1979 (talk) 02:36, 17 March 2008 (UTC)
- Support, unless Descartes1979 can convince me that there Omni (as a person) is sufficiently notable to stand as its own article. I don't know of any sources specifically discussing Omni apart from the Book of Omni. The only primary source on Omni consists of three verses of the Book of Mormon, and unless there is some substantial exegesis or speculation about Omni as a person in the secondary literature, I don't think the subject is sufficiently notable on its own.
