dorid etymology edit
- The word "Doridoidea" comes from the generic name Doris, which was in turn copied from the name of the sea nymph Doris in Greek mythology.
Really? Is this also where the name dorid (as in dorid vs eolid kinds of nudibranch) comes from? And if so, where is aeolid from? Also, anybody got a source or an idea of when these names date to? Was there some explanation in 1815? Cesiumfrog (talk) 03:04, 16 October 2012 (UTC)
