Misc edit

This isn't a very good title for the article. Anyone think of anything better? The way it sounds so close to 'Air Ministry' almost seems like someone's having a laugh... Abc30 18:35, 5 September 2006 (UTC)Reply

Name change / page move edit

I’ve moved this page from Labour Government 1997-2007 to Blair ministry, to be in consistent usage with similar pages from before Blair, i.e. Thatcher ministry. I’ve also moved in a similar manner Labour Government 2007-2010. This should provide a constant usage on all pages on British ministries, which are compiled at List of British ministries. Junior ministers edit

We need a junior ministers list, if any one has got one to put in here….RGloucester (talk) 03:03, 21 May 2012 (UTC)Reply

Why no division? edit

If there are three articles: First Thatcher Ministry, Second Thatcher Ministry and Third Thatcher Ministry, why is the same approach not taken for the Blair governments? If there is a reason for this, it is not in any of the articles. --LukeSurl t c 22:44, 10 March 2013 (UTC)Reply

Yeah I did wonder this too... --129.215.149.97 (talk) 14:25, 13 March 2013 (UTC)Reply

Request to rename to Blair Goverments edit

The term 'ministry' seems to me to be archaic: the only reasonably recent usage I've come across related to Embassies. I notice for example that the article 'List of British Ministries' has been changed to 'List of British Governments'. I'm very inclined to BE BOLD and just do it: can anyone defend the status quo? [I haven't yet done the formal RfC procedure]. --John Maynard Friedman (talk) 20:07, 23 April 2013 (UTC)Reply
