Sidharth Nath Singh (b 1963) is an Indian politician and Cabinet Minister and Spokesperson in the Government of Uttar Pradesh. He joined BJP in 1996 and started his career from Yuva Morcha ( Youth Wing ) was team member of Sh Shivraj Singh Chauhan then President of All India Yuva Morcha. Later become National Media Convenor and was National Spokesperson of BJP. He was National Secretary of BJP and incharge of , Nagaland, West Bengal and Andhra Pradesh. He was privileged to work directly under many senior leaders of BJP like (Sh)LK Advani, Narendre Modi, Venkaiah Naidu , Pramod Mahajan, Arun Jaitley, Nitin GadkariAmit Shah and others. He is a grandson of former Prime Minister of India Lal Bahadur Shastri.[1] Suman Shastri (1936-2002), his mother, was the daughter of Lal Bahadur Shastri. [2] </ref>[3][4][5][6]

Political careerEdit

S N Singh became Member of the Uttar Pradesh Legislative Assembly from Allahabad West constituency in 2017 by defeating two-time BSP MLA Pooja Pal by 45,000 votes.[7][8] He is currently (since 2017) a cabinet minister in the UP government, with the portfolio of Health.

During his tenure, the health service of Uttar Pradesh has started to perform well.|All doctors are getting to the hospital on time. During his tenure Uttar Pradesh has secured first place in India in vaccination.
