Michael Gunther

Michael Gunther is a producer, director, and writer known for his work in feature films and documentaries. Gunther began his career as a commercials director in Europe before transitioning to documentary and feature filmmaking.

He founded his own production company, where he produced TV documentaries, including a portrait of painter Hans Falk and a documentary about the 1999 earthquake in Turkey. In 2002, Gunther wrote and directed The Honeytrap, starring Emily Lloyd.

Gunther has also produced independent features and shorts. He served as co-producer for the 2007 film Anamorph, directed by Henry Miller and starring Willem Dafoe, Scott Speedman, Peter Stormare, and Clea DuVall.

In 2006, Gunther co-founded Triboro Pictures, a New York-based production company, alongside Sirad Balducchi.
