Hey @Izno see details on https://phabricator.wikimedia.org/T318358 It seems this gadget rewrites the page but doesn't respect hash fragment.
Presumably after rewriting it should do something like: hash = window.location.hash; window.location.hash = ; window.location.hash = hash; to restore the correct position of the scroll in the page. Jdlrobson (talk) 23:48, 7 October 2022 (UTC)
- According to phab: T318358this also impacts User_talk:Gary/comments_in_local_time.js/. This came up again today on Wikipedia_talk:Vector_2022#Odd_effect_with_Wikilink_to_section Jdlrobson (talk) 22:05, 18 January 2023 (UTC)
