Gregory Tony is an American law enforcement officer who serves as the 17th Sheriff of Broward County, Florida. He was appointed by Governor Ron DeSantis after the suspension of former Sheriff Scott Israel, who was suspended for "neglected duty and incompetence" linked to the mishandling of the Stoneman Douglas High School shooting in Broward County, Parkland, Florida.
