Important! This knot is not the same as the other descriptions of the Yosemite Bowline which I have seen. The tail end is wrapped around the opposite way to how I have normally seen the knot tied. I don't know if this is considered a safe equivalent (mathematically, they are very distinct knots, but if the 'Yosemite' in the name just refers to the act of tucking the tail back through the knot, then it may cover a range of similar knots).
