Hainan Island

the Hainan Island part of China is being shown in a purple color. but the map key does not list any countries being in this color type. is is possible that hainan island was ment to be shown as the same color as china? im not sure if there were european colonies there 99.45.130.77 (talk) 14:21, 6 December 2013 (UTC)

Why is Germany highlighted?
