Symbol inaccurate

edit

The chemical warfare symbol is a dark background with nondark twin grenades (picture a comma tilted about 80, 70 degrees to the left, with an exaggerated tail) crossed, my interpretation of which is artillery shells trailing gas, which is incorrect (unless airburst) but memorable. The molecule(?) depiction is inaccurate. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 64.180.217.134 (talkcontribs) . 03:55, 17 August 2005

This symbol is quite new. See http://www.cs.amedd.army.mil/simcenter/chemical_symbol_story.htm for additional information.
Old and new versions could be added to the chemical hazard page.

Would it be possible to label the different symbols so that one could know which was which? --Jontsang 19:58, 23 May 2006 (UTC)Reply
