Tree Of Life's Cycle

The "Tree of Life" will probably never end. Just like as far as we know it never began. A never ending or begining tree basically. I guess the leaves would represent life. Mostly because they grow and fall off. Some seasons the leaves never grow and during other seasons the trees leaves can be counted to alot... the REAL question, from my point of veiw, is What kind of tree is it?
