- Yes, please. In any case, I wish the errors on the map would be corrected. The map on the left shows the region of Salla (actually Salla-Kuusamo, see [Finnish article]) as it was already a part of Soviet Union before the planned division. Also the Klaipėda Region is shown as it was a part of Germany before the division. On the map on the right the southern border of the Karelo-Finnish SSR is drawn way too north. --62.78.214.216 (talk) 12:30, 25 February 2011 (UTC)
Improvement for 1939 portion of map edit
The 1939 map (on the left of the graphic) shows the borders of Czechoslovakia after the Sudetenland was awarded to Germany in 1938 but before the German occupation of Czechoslovakia in March 1939. I assume the map thus uses the borders that existed as of 1 January 1939. The 1940 map shows the post-occupation borders. However, this is misleading for the purposes of the graphic, as it can be read to imply that the occupation of Czechoslovakia was part of the Molotov-Ribbentrop Pact. Just look at the titling of the two maps.
It would be much better for the purposes of this graphic to show the borders that existed as of 23 August 1939 (when the pact was signed) or 1 September 1939 (when Germany invaded Poland). Czechoslovakia would aready be occupied on the 1939 and no confusion about it and the pact could result. (Note that changing the graphic in this way would require a purple "Occupied by Germany" box to be added to the 1939 map legend.) — Preceding unsigned comment added by Johnmastell (talk • contribs) 22:35, 2 February 2018 (UTC)
