Mongolia

edit

The Republic of China doesn't officially recognize Mongolia. Could someone shade Mongolia? --Bark (talk) 18:59, 14 April 2008 (UTC)Reply

It's a little more complex. I'm working on it now. --Barry Kent (talk) 16:21, 15 April 2008 (UTC)Reply

Other majority recognized countries

edit

In the List of unrecognized countries there are quite a few countries which are not recognized by only one country. such as North Korea not recognized by South Korea and vice versa. These are not on the map as majority recognized countries. Should they be? After all, the PRC is only not recognized by the ROC. —Preceding unsigned comment added by ZDoom (talkcontribs) 14:19, 9 August 2008 (UTC)Reply

Actually about 20 states don't recognize the PRC. Many are in Latin America or Oceania. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 85.1.158.68 (talk) 15:36, 13 April 2009 (UTC)Reply

Better examples of this are Northern Cyprus, Abkhazia, and Southern Ossetia, among others. Calbaer (talk) 19:13, 5 May 2009 (UTC)Reply

Republic of Lakota

edit

Could you also add the Republic of Lakota as well? Lakota is also an unrecognized country.

The Republic is a "proposed country". This page is for de facto independent states only. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 189.33.40.151 (talk) 01:52, 20 August 2009 (UTC)Reply

Concerns...

Why is South Cyprus blue? Also, all of Western Sahara should be orange, not just the Mauritania claim. Mauritania gave up the claim, so now there are independence people, pro-Morocco people, and pro-Mauritania people. ," said The Person Who Is Strange. ~Yup. It's all true. Click here for more. I also wondered the same thing about Southern Cyprus. As for Western Sahara, check out the Sahrawi Arab Democratic Republic. The region highlighted is your Free Zone (region). The line separating the Free Zone (region) from the rest of Western Sahara is the Berm (Western Sahara.--189.33.40.151 (talk) 01:59, 20 August 2009 (UTC)Reply
Oh wait... maybe Turkey doesn't recognize them? I don't know. ," said The Person Who Is Strange. ~Yup. It's all true. Click here for more. My page is outdated, but there are a lot of boxes. 04:05, 22 September 2009 (UTC)Reply
Yes, but that still doesn't explain why it is blue and not dark green.--189.33.2.165 (talk) 14:01, 8 December 2009 (UTC)Reply

Slovakia

Transnistria is partially recognized

edit

Why is Transnistria shown in red here? Should it not be in pink? Outback the koala (talk) 23:16, 14 January 2010 (UTC)Reply
