Nasty intro

edit

Man that is an ugly, nasty intro, sure to drive new editors away from commenting.

There are many things this page is NOT for:

    * test edits (please go to the Wikipedia:Sandbox); general comments on the image or its subject, eg "aww, how cute" (Wikipedia is not a forum); or questions about the subject which have nothing to do with the image, eg "how are the team doing this year?" (go to the Reference Desk)
    * contacting the photographer or uploader (use the relevant user talk page)
    * requesting corrections to the image (try the talk page of an article that the image is used in, or contact the graphics lab.)
    * requesting deletion of the image (check speedy deletion criteria to see if there is a suitable tag to place on the File: page; or failing that go to Files for Deletion).
    * Asking about the copyright status of the image; the media copyright questions desk and possibly unfree files page are more widely-viewed locations.

Short cut

edit

I tried to create a shortcut/redirect to this badly named page, WP:BITEAD but I couldn't figure out how? Ikip 19:25, 20 December 2009 (UTC)Reply

I think the problem is that your redirect is not in the File: namespace, so it is treated as normal link, not an image. If you want, you can use the code {{wikipedia ads | ad=15}}, that produces the whole ad, showing always this one image:
