File talk:Prostitution in Europe.svg

This map needs to be updated. According to the Prostitution in Europe Wikipedia article, Bosnia and Herzegovina should be blue on this map and not red, as according to that page prostitution is legal in the country, but related activities such as solicitation and keeping a brothel are illegal. However, by having the country coloured red on the map it contradicts this by signifying that prostitution is illegal in the country. Tagging map author - Comte0. Belgium should be labelled as "Decriminalization" edit

Please update the map (Belgium -> Decriminalization).

Since 1 June 2022, Belgium has decriminalized sex work.

Hi, Preciouseurope. I'm not an author of this map, nor do I know how to edit these maps. I would also like to see this map updated. However, this is not the place you'll likely get a response. This is an issue to be dealt with on Wikimedia Commons where the map originates. The map is available on Wikimedia Commons here - https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:Prostitution_in_Europe.svg - where another editor has also asked for this to be updated. All the best. I've updated the map. Note that I do not read Dutch and couldn't figure out the law with an automatic translator, so the source I used to confirm the decriminalization was this news article in English. – Tintazul msg 11:07, 13 January 2023 (UTC)Reply
