I am fairly certain that this map published in 1922 can be published on Wikipedia and have probably put some incorrect information in the file of this image. Can you help me fix the problem, please.--RoslynSKP (talk) 05:30, 22 June 2010 (UTC)
- {{PD-US}} or {{PD-1923}} is OK here on EN Wikipedia for anything published before 1923, as US copyright law generally considers anything published before 1923, anywhere in the world, to now be public domain in the US, and EN Wikipedia is hosted in the US and hence falls within the US copyright domain. To be uploaded to Wikimedia Commons, material must also be out of copyright in its country of origin, which if that was outside the US usually means the author must have died at least 70 years ago, i.e. before 1940.
