Russia is a great power? Second in the world only to the U.S.? It's 2011, the USSR is long gone...
In answer to the above, anybody who is aware of International Relations will testify that Russia is a great power, to suggest otherwise is incorrect. The issue with this map is Italy. I have serious reservations about the use of this map on Wikipedia. It appears to constitute the opinions of the uploaders as to what they personally consider to be a power - which is a textbook violation of WP:OR. I suggest we either conform this map to a reliable external source, or I will personally remove it from all of the articles in which it is currently used.
