Copyrighted? edit

How can this possibly be copyrighted? Move to commons, add SVG tag I say --83.233.201.95 (talk) 13:01, 22 January 2008 (UTC)Reply

You would actually have to argue how it is not. If one does not acknowledge the source then the image may very well be original research. See Wikipedia:No original research.Hyacinth (talk) 01:08, 23 January 2008 (UTC)Reply

The last two bars of the melody are wrong edit

The best sources I can find so far:

Our version gives the last bar ("Pop! Goes the weasel") as A (rest) D D E C. This does not match the audio used with it in (among other places) the English Wikipedia page for melody: .

This version is A (rest) D F E C. This matches my memory of the classic tune, and the sources I just cited, whereas playing this version does not. I am aware of the mandela effect, and I am happy to accept I could be wrong. But I do not believe this version is cited at all, it was just published as a good-faith attempt to transcribe the traditional melody, and it does seem that the only sources I can find that are not just copying Wikimedia commons agree with me. I can use MuseScore, so I am more than happy to make an updated version myself, but I think that replacing an image that is used on multiple different Wikipedias without discussion might be a bit too bold.
