My question is about the history of the alphabet. I would like to understand the history of : Yod, He, Waw, He and also about the history of the letter V, W, and UaU. And which came first Hebrew or Aramaic? I am trying to sift through the evidence of how the Tetragrmmaton actually would have appeared if it had been written during the time of Moses (Moshe).
The image supplied in this article is difficult for me to follow how the letters developed, if you could explain this I would greatly appreciate it.
