Ottomans didn't annex Moldavia,Wallachia or Transylvania,Moldavia and Wallachia especially were ruled by local Christian lords for most of their history — Preceding unsigned comment added by 92.86.99.185 (talkcontribs) 14:30, 9 August 2011 (UTC)Reply

Size of Map edit

It would be better if there was a map showing the entire empire in one color, similar to maps of other empires. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Van Gulik (talkcontribs) 17:31, 19 November 2011 (UTC)Reply

River - wrong name edit

The name of the river which flows thru cities of Agram (Zagreb), and Belgrade is Sava not Drava. Drava is a river cca 100km north of Sava River, and it does not flow thru Agram and Belgrade! Vedran12 (talk) 18:18, 15 June 2013 (UTC)Reply

Country - wrong name edit

There was no "Russia" until 1708. The country with the center in Moscow was called Muscovy at the time indicated in this map's captions. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 93.73.20.131 (talk) 17:02, 28 June 2013 (UTC)Reply

Ekaterinoslav appeared MUCH later edit

The city of (Y)Ekaterinoslav, indicated on this map, appeared much later: in 1776. This makes most of the map inaccurate and subject to deletion. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 93.73.20.131 (talk) 17:07, 28 June 2013 (UTC)Reply

Kuvayt in Basra was clearly politically part of Iraq edit

The map clearly depicts Kuvayt as part of Iraq. Not that Iraq needed the alien Ottoman Empire to prove that Kuvayt is historically an integral part of Iraq. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 101.220.39.202 (talk) 12:26, 4 December 2013 (UTC)Reply
