Hello. Do you think we can replace this logo by that one ? --Fenring 18:31, 7 September 2007 (UTC)Reply

Yeah, I don't know if it's a good representation though, but still better than the old bevel-o-rama PNG. The Opera web site uses the clean, two color logo AFAI can see.
Yeah I know. The official logos defines the flat one for Opera Software. But it also shows the 3D one, which I guess applies to Opera browser (I see it as the application icon on Windows). Anyway the light sources I've added are too simple. Don't know (yet) how to achieve these kind of circular spot-lights with svg filters...--Fenring 20:35, 7 September 2007 (UTC)Reply
Oh, now I see... I guess that could be hard yeah, but uh, that looks nasty even in the official version. Maybe it's best to use the official PNG or ask them for an EPS.
Haha. It's a question of taste, I guess. I like the shining logo. It seems they don't have a vectorial version of that one, though. As they call it "faux 3D", it's probably done with a raster editor. So, unless someone manage to vectorize the faux 3D, I vote for the official "bevel-o-rama PNG" ;-)
And I think it would be better if Opera Mini shows the official logo--Fenring 21:34, 7 September 2007 (UTC)Reply
True, I've fixed the Opera Mini logo. The others though... Those PMG bevels break my heart, I just can't do it myself. :P Vargklo 22:07, 7 September 2007 (UTC)Reply

There's that page: http://www.opera.com/press/resources/ with SVG version. Maybe me could replace current version with that one? There's also the Commons image. Not sure if this is the same file as the one on Opera press resources page: http://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:Opera_O.svgmina86 (talk) 10:12, 15 June 2010 (UTC)Reply
