I only see seven strands. You may want to spread them out so they are all visible and take a new photo. Or maybe there really are 7 strands and the caption needs to be changed. I bring this up because the Litz wire that I am familiar with had seven strands. Actually it had an alternating sequence of 7 and 3. That is they start with 7 stands to make a bundle and then the wind three of those bundles together into super bundles and then wind seven super bundles together. It was explained to me that it is done that way because bundles of three and seven will hold a stable configuration. Constant314 (talk) 19:15, 23 January 2011 (UTC)Reply
