French is native to Luxembourg. (Luxembourg is trilingual). Anorak2 (talk) 07:58, 22 February 2008 (UTC)
Suisse
editYou have missed out western Switzerland, French is a native language there. 80.192.246.56 (talk) 18:54, 28 February 2008 (UTC)Falcon-eagle200780.192.246.56 (talk) 18:54, 28 February 2008 (UTC)
- Yes but Switzerland isn't in the EU so that omission is OK for this map. Contrary to Luxemburg which is EU, so it ought to be included. Anorak2 (talk) 13:12, 29 February 2008 (UTC)
-> Switzerland is not in the EU, right. However, this map is included (among others) in the article "Languages of Europe" ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/European_languages ), not "Languages in the European Union". In the latter article, one shall note that the German language map does include Switzerland ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Image:Knowledge_German_EU_map.png ), so we lack consistency here...
I would advise to either create and publish 2 versions of this map, depending of which article refers to it ; or use one single version of the map, including all countries of Europe, which would be both simpler to maintain and closer to the truth - which is Wikipedia's credo...
Colours
editWho the hell decided to use the same colour for this chart? Why not use different colours? Using shades of one colour makes it very difficult to read! 217.202.97.13 (talk) 21:40, 24 March 2008 (UTC)
I was about to complain the same thing as 217.202.97.13.189.70.30.218 (talk) 17:29, 13 May 2008 (UTC)
Macedonia
edit- Where is Macedonia on that map? Macedonia is candidate, and the colour should be same as the Croatian one. --MacedonianBoy (talk) 21:44, 17 June 2008 (UTC)
